ACTIVE COMMITTEES
1.“KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE” COMMITTEE - will organize, coordinate and host all type of events related to the life, health and entertainment of Bulgarian children.
Chairperson: Stella Angelova
EDUCATION sub-Committee - will work on the organization and formation of Bulgarian weekend school for Bulgarian children from kindergarten to 8th grade; will be responsible for finding the premises which would be most appropriate for this project; will start working on the school programs and on recruiting people with pedagogical background who would be willing to volunteer their time as teachers.

2.“CULTURE IS OUR TREASURE” COMMITTEE
CULTURE sub-Committee – will organize concerts, parties, festivals, talent exhibitions, book fairs (gathering and exchange of all genres of Bulgarian books among members), celebrations of the major Bulgarian national holidays, etc.

HEALTH and RECREATION sub-Committee – will organize picnics, outings, competitions, sports activities, like soccer and volleyball matches, tennis tournaments, etc.; will prepares and maintains a Group Health Insurance for members of the Organization.

HISTORY and RELIGION sub-Committee – will work for the creation and institutionalizing of a Bulgarian Orthodox Church with the goal to gather Bulgarians for liturgy and celebration of most of the Bulgarian religious and historic holidays, etc.

3.“NEVER FORGET WHERE YOU STARTED” COMMITTEE – main goal and agenda should be to support and aid the newcomers by providing all type of valuable information to them and make it as easily accessible and available as possible.

4.FUND RAISING AND RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE
FUND RAISING sub-Committee – will work on gathering funds by all possible legal means for the Organization; will organize with the help of other Committees fund-raising events; will works in close contact with the PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE, to raise awareness of the Organization’s goals and activities and to attract the interest of affluent people who would be willing to make donations for the Organization.

RECRUITMENT AND MEMBERSHIP sub-Committee - The major goal would be to come up with ideas and ways of increasing the number of members of the organization and schemes of keeping these members in active status in the Organization.

5. PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE – will promote and advertise the ideas and activities of the organization; will create partnership relations with other non-profit organizations of Bulgarians all over the United States and create a working relationship for exchange of experience and ideas for organizing the Bulgarian life in US; will act as a liaison between the Organization and the media; will publish the monthly Newsletter of the Organization; etc.
